Ready to Roll for Another Year!

Glory of the Snow (Chionodoxa luciliae)

Okay, bring it on Spring! I'm ready. Every day there are new green sprouts springing up among the last of the winter debris. This is also my blogaversary. I began my blog last April, 2007. It's hard to believe it has been one year already and that Spring is coming so fast now. We still have snow every couple of days or so, but it is not staying around long, thank goodness. Soooo.... bring it on Mother Nature, and let's get this show going for another beautiful year!

Pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris)

My very favorite spring flower is beginning it's beautiful display. And after coming close to getting run over last winter by a neighbor's truck. It's a hardy little thing.

Today was my blog anniversary/birthday too.

Congratulations on a year of blogging.

I hope you are well now. I look forward to seeing your garden come to life again.

HI! I have been lurking since last Fall and thought it time to make some greetings. I am so excited to see how your lovely gardens will grow this year - have missed your posts over the Winter. I live in the NE part of the Metro (Denver) area and hope to learn through you what we can (maybe) grow sucessfully up here.... Hopefully all will be well under the area that the truck drove over....

Happy blog anniversary! I like your blog. I live in Colorado Springs as well and I'm not so patient! We just moved to new house and nothing growing in the new yard right now. Thanks for sharing your flowers, that makes me feel better.

Happy blogiversary! Is the pasque flower your favorite spring flower? (Since you showed a couple, I thought I'd better ask to make sure.)

Wonderful photos of the Pasque flowers, they came up in my garden every year for a long time and all of sudden one year they did not return. I should replace them.
